Legendary live-fast-die-young Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain would have been 41 tomorrow, February 20, had things turned out ... differently. (Lord, why couldn't you have taken Scott Stapp instead?! We all know he longs to be closer to Thee!!) Er, anyhoo, here's an analysis of Kurt's chart and the factors leading up to his untimely death. Not unlike Heath Ledger, he passed away while under the influence of his first Saturn return (as well as, ahem, a bunch of other stuff).

Even if Kurt had somehow survived the '90s and gotten his life back on track, no doubt the past few years -- and the next few to come -- would be very chaotic and turbulent for him, with Uranus in Pisces passing over five of his natal planets (including Chiron) as well as the Descendant. (I tend to agree with Courtney Love's recent statement that they would probably not still be together if he were alive.) Judging from his horoscope, Kurt was likely to struggle with pain and self-destructiveness throughout his life.
