Interpretation: The inconjunct, or quincunx, is the relationship of two signs which are one away from opposite -- signs which are unlike in every way (element, modality and polarity). In this combination, the awareness of the direct opposition is elusive; the inconjunct can actually be more difficult to deal with because the conflict it presents is not so obvious and can even seem frustratingly always on the verge of clicking into place. Positive use of the inconjunct requires adjustment of perspective.
